CoPilot Live helps Charity Cyclist achieve a childhood dream

Crazy George

Earlier this summer, Pennine Telecom’s George Bradbury (AKA ‘Crazy George’) set off on a solo charity bike ride from Barnswick near Skipton to Santiago de Compostela in Spain.

The purpose was two fold; to realise a long held childhood ambition to follow an old pilgrim route featured in a television documentary and to raise money for The DayStar School in Uganda – a charity who provide less fortunate children with a secondary education.

Before setting off, we equipped George with a Sony Ericsson M600i running the latest Symbian version of CoPilot Live 7 to help him on his way. In addition, viewers of his website were able to view his progress in real time via CoPilot’s Live online tracking facility.

George completed his 2000 mile journey in 40 days raising in excess of £5500 in the process. Good one, George and good luck on any future ‘crazy’expeditions.
