If the weather outside is driving you to drink, let CoPilot drive you to the drink! America has some great brewery’s to visit. Thrillist compiled a very comprehensive list but we’ve got some favorites of our own as well. But remember to drink responsibly and always have a designated driver.
Ommegang Brewery, NY
If you’re like us, you’re counting down the days until Game of Thrones returns. The superfans at Ommegang share your love of Westeros. In addition to their own impressive creations, these crafty brewers created Game of Thrones inspired beers, “Take the Black Stout” and “Iron Throne” Blonde Ale.
Rogue Brewery, OR
If you’re of the adventurous sort, Rogue Ales might suit you well. Their brews are delicious flavor combinations like Bacon Maple Ale and Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Banana or Pretzel, Raspberry and Chocolate. They all sound great to us!
21st Amendement, CA
These West Coast beer makers know a thing or two about flavor. Their seasonal offerings like Hell or High Watermelon (a wheat beer) and Fireside Chat (dark English ale) are both popular additions to their other staple beers.
What’s been your favorite brewery? Let us know in the comments!

Stay informed, my friends.
Romance is in the air, and more than likely, on the road today! With President’s Day presenting many of us with four day weekends, we hope you planned an extra special get away.
The U.S. has so many wonderfully romantic places to visit to spend time with the one you love. You could take a trip to Sedona, AZ where you’ll find the Grand Canyon, warm temperatures and a nice relaxing spa. Or perhaps you’re looking for something a bit more low-key and will head to a nice B&B like the Wickwood Inn in Michigan.
But we here at CoPilot know a thing or two about travel. And if you’re looking for the best place to get away – we’ve got it.
Dunton Hot Springs, CO
This hidden gem in the San Juan mountains of southwestern Colorado has romance for days. Every couple gets their own private cabin and more importantly, there is NO CELL PHONE SERVICE! You’ll have the ability to reconnect with your loved one without checking email, playing Candy Crush or binge watching House of Cards. Once CoPilot gets you there with offline navigation, turn off your cell phone and turn up the romance. You’ll thank us later.
The winter games are in full swing and if you ever had dreams of representing your country, CoPilot can help you get there!(Literally, we can only get you there – to the actual training facility. You need to train on your own)
There are three USOC facilities in the country, located in high altitudes so make sure to download your offline maps before you go for the gold.
Lake Placid, NY
Training for most of the winter competitions happen here at Lake Placid, which was also used to host some events for the official Olympics of 1980. You can practice bobsled, figure skating, ice hockey, luge, skiing and speed skating at the site.
Colorado Springs, CO
The flagship training facility located close to downtown Colorado Springs hosts 242 dorm rooms and serves over 300,000 meals a year. This location is where USA Swimming and USA Shooting have their national headquarters.
Chula Vista, CA
Future Katniss Everdeens of the US will find the training facility in this warm-weather locale more than accommodating. In addition to archery, BMX training also takes place in this cool Cali training center. Along with Olympic hopefuls, you can find student athletes from the local area taking advantage of the venues for sports like field hockey, rowing, soccer, softball, tennis, track & field and triathlon.
We hope you can map your way to the gold or at the very least, to a gym near you. Use CoPilot POIs to search for recreation centers nearby. Safe travels!
Heading to Russia this February? Good news for you, sports fan! You can find your way around without data roaming using the CoPilot GPS navigation app.
CoPilot’s premium-quality offline maps of Europe, including up-to-date coverage of the Sochi region, are stored on your device, not downloaded. So you can depend on your smartphone for directions without worrying about the cost.
Now that you’ve got your maps for the high altitudes – you’re set! In between all of the exciting events, there’s plenty to be seen inside Sochi and it’s four boroughs. Here’s some must see attractions:
You may not get a chance to take a dip but when else will you be able to take in of nature’s greatest sights? While there is some discrepancy on how it got its name, checking out this body of water should definitely be on your bucket list.
The locals in Sochi are proud of their prized botanical garden – and they definitely have reason to be! Dendarium is home to over 1,700 different species of trees, plants and bushes from many regions of the world.
Sochi Art Museum
If the balmy weather gets to be too much, you can take refuge inside Sochi’s Art Museum which boasts a great collection of Soviet and Russian art.
CoPilot’s offline maps make for the perfect tour guide during international travel. Heading anywhere new this month? Let us know in the comments!

How to choose the best turn-by-turn app for your iOS device by Geoffrey Goetz
“The last time I discussing mapping apps, it was the ease of modifying routes using CoPilot Premium HD’s ($14.99 Universal) drag and drop feature that really grabbed my attention”
CoPilot Premium and GPS give you millions of POIs with search powered by Yelp, Google and Wikipedia. But if you’re in the mood for something specific, we can help with that too. The biggest football event is upon us and if you’re simple peasants like us, you couldn’t shell out thousands upon thousands to sit in the nosebleeds at Met Life Stadium. The next best thing of course is heading to a bar to partake in some good ol’ fashioned wing eating. Only want to see restaurants on your route? Here’s how to change the POIs that show up on your map.
Go to Settings inside your CoPilot app
Then select Map Display
Choose Show POIs on Map
Click on Currently Displayed POIs and select the category of your choice
No matter who wins, Broncos or Seahawks, we hope everyone has a safe Superbowl weekend. We look to forward to commuting with you on Monday morning
Here in the US, it seems like Windows Phone still has a lot of work to do to catch up with more smartphone users. The Nokia Lumia 1520 is a big, bold statement from Microsoft and Nokia that should help them offer users another option when searching for the perfect device.
