[UPDATE] IMPORTANT Info regarding CoPilot GPS App Update on iPhone/iPad

Great news! Apple have fixed the issue with the CoPilot GPS app update not installing after downloading. You can now download and install it on your iPhone or iPad:

  1. Please launch the App Store on your iPhone/iPad and make sure you have your WIFI activated
  2. In case you deleted the CoPilot GPS app, please find it on the App Store and download it. In case you did NOT delete the CoPilot GPS app, simply download the app.
  3. You can now use your CoPilot GPS app again

Again, thank you for your patience while we worked with Apple to fix the issue.

Thank you for your continued patience. We are still working together with Apple to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Some users reported they could stop the update and continue to use the older version of the GPS app with the following tip. These steps could be working if you started the update on your iPhone/iPad and did NOT delete the app:

  • Open your App Store on your iPhone/iPad and go to “Updates”
  • If you started the app update, hit the stop button in the update circle next to the CoPilot GPS icon
  • Close the App Store app
  • Launch the existing CoPilot GPS app

We are sorry for the inconvenience you’re experiencing and hope to have a permanent fix soon.  We will continue to provide you frequent updates on our progress.

Unfortunately there is a problem with this update that occurs when trying to download the app directly through your iPhone / iPad’s App Store.

The good news is that you can still install the update via iTunes on a computer. To do this:

1) Delete the app

2) Restart your device

3) Download the app via iTunes on your computer

4) Connect your iPhone / iPad to your computer

5) Reinstall the app
