Tips and Tricks: Changing Your Driving Views

Since the launch of CoPilot, one of our primary goals has been to provide drivers the safest possible driving experience on the road.  CoPilot’s user interface is designed so whether you’re navigating in 3D, 2D or Directions view, you can keep your eyes on the road.  Our unique Directions view only displays a map close to turns for minimal distraction.

With CoPilot Live Premium, you can easily switch between the different driving views.  With one click from the Driving Menu you can tap and open the view you prefer.

Here is a short tutorial video that shows you how to easily switch between driving views

3D view is our most popular view, its what brings navigation to a different level. The road ahead is displayed with surrounding landscapes and digital elevations. This detailed geographic guidance helps drivers see what lies ahead. Built-in graphics accelerator gives the driver impressive 3D views.

2D view provides the birds eye view, it replicates a  map view.

Directions view is ideal for drivers that prefer a simple visual with no clutter and text instructions.  Simplicity does not mean a lack of choices though.  CoPilot Live Premium features the ability to switch between one of two non-distracting views: an itinerary format or a turn-by-turn display. To switch between these views, simply press the turn arrow box in the lower section of the driving screen.
